3-cheese oven meatballs

2/3 cup cottage cheese

1 egg

2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

2 teaspoons Italian seasoning, or 2 tablespoons chopped fresh herbs

1 teaspoon granulated garlic

2 Tablespoons chopped onion

1 ½ pounds ground beef, turkey or mixture

½ cup parmesan cheese, grated

½ cup mozzarella cheese, grated

1/3-1/2 cup breadcrumbs or almond flour
Instructions:

Heat the oven to 400 degrees. Pulse the cottage cheese, egg, Worcestershire sauce and onion in a blender or small food processor until well-broken up, but not totally creamy.  Scrape into a large mixing bowl. Add the meat and mix well.  Mix in the parmesan and mozzarella and breadcrumbs, and mix well with hands.  Add more breadcrumbs is mixture is too wet.  Use a tablespoon to measure out 1” meatballs.  Roll into meatballs and place in baking pan lined with foil or parchment.  Bake until cooked through, about 12 minutes.
