Guy’s Grocery Games: “Patiently Weighting”

Melissa is back as a reoccurring judge on season two of Food Network’s hit primetime competition show, “Guy’s Grocery Games.”
About the show: Four talented chefs compete in supermarket-themed cooking challenges as they must navigate their way through the aisles, adhering to “real-world” obstacles doled out by host Guy Fieri. Whether it is shopping on a budget, substituting out-of-stock ingredients or grabbing groceries at closing time, the contenders have to shop, prepare, and plate three different dishes using whatever they can pull off the shelves. Ultimately, the food does the talking, as one-by-one the losing chefs “check out,” with the last chef standing going on a shopping spree of a lifetime worth up to $20,000!
In this episode: It is a challenge of weighty proportions as the four chefs must make comfort food using no more than five pounds of ingredients. Next, the chefs must incorporate Guy’s unusual Grocery List into their noodle dishes. In the final game, two chefs go head-to-head as they shop together, to make their best dish in One Ingredient Per Aisle.
